This is a building filled with stories. Construction began in the eleventh century and the church has been in use ever since. Inside, you can see one of the largest collections of fifteenth-century wall and vault paintings in the Netherlands, the earliest of which date to around 1400. With their colourful representations of biblical stories, mysterious sibyls, stalwart saints and the stinking rich, they are still every bit as splendid today.
